Frostee- White Street Mixtape review
Frostee is a Montevallo, Al rapper who is taking us on a journey to "White street". Ironically, he is white, but within his "Welcome to White Street" intro, he explains that this is where he decided to take on a role of a rapper. Frostee has really good storytelling skills (Beer Stank, The Mask Starz 3-5 am) and knows how to draw the listener in. It's real stereotypical to say that every white rapper sounds like Eminem, so we're not going there. He actually has more of a Mac Miller sound/feel. Frostee is very witty with his wordplay. I was also very entertained by his UHF soundbites through the project as well. The movie reflects the idea of the mixtape. I love his confidence for just dropping his first project and "killing it on the first take like Skip Bayless". The beat selection was good and shows that when he gets his own beats, he is going to be a problem. At the end of the day, Frostee is the clorox within the game...breaking the mold with "White Street".

Official Music Video: "Summer Cypher" - Freezy, TAllent, & BirdCall
The summertime is approaching which means more people will be outside in the blistering heat. "Summer Cypher" is a track that features 3 Connecticut hip hop (Freezy, TALLent, Birdcall) artists. The artists come together with the assistance of Asia Smiley (aka Insomniac Wolf - who also comes Connecticut) to create a laid back cypher-style song. So, what do ya'll think? Spin it or Scratch it?
