After watching True Hollywood story this past Tuesday, I learned that Timbaland was in love with Aaliyah. Even though he had a hard time trying to keep his feelings to himself, his love for her was huge. He said that she was just a baby so instead of pursuing her he was just going to be her brother. I know that when she died it tore a huge (HUGE) hole in his heart because he never truly got to tell Aaliyah how he felt. After that he met his wife Monique Idlett at an industry event in Jamaica, he stated that he was going to marry Monique because she had reminded him of Aaliyah. Also in this THS special, Timbaland talks about his past weight issues that almost drove him to kill himself.
